Let Them Explore Art
One of my favorite things to do with my children is visit an art museum. Yes, it is true they don't always get excited about the prospect of an afternoon of art but I find the best approach is to let them lead. I allow them to wander around the space; follow them and see where their eye takes them. You would be surprised what catches their attention. They will see things you may otherwise have missed. Now that we are currently practicing social distancing and staying home this exploration doesn't need to stop. Follow this link to a list of some very cool virtual museum tours for kids and parents alike.
When we are out and about again check out a few of my local favorites for in person exploration.
